Treasure 2021 at last they met live

 

At last they met live – the participants of a long-term school project "In honour of 700th anniversary of Vilnius city" dedicated to the town’s 700^th anniversary, that is to be celebrated in 2023. The aim of the project launched by the teachers of English Olga Gric and Inna Jerofejeva is to make students aware of the town’s history. 

 

 

The first two stages of the project resulted in 3 video presentations about Vilnius’ Old Town made by Anastasija R. 6C, Maksim K. 6C and Aleksej N. 6C (teacher I. Jerofejeva) and a Kahoot video quiz created by Viktorija and Karolina S. 6B, Veronika J. 6B, Erika A. 6B, Elvyra R. 6B, Alisa B. 5A, Artiomas K. 5B, Ksenija P. 5C (teacher O. Gric)

 

Well, on the 14^th of June it was time for a challenge - a “Treasure Hunt” quiz! Two teams of students ( Jelizaveta S., Emilija R. 9A, Ksenija P.,  Milana R., Artiom S. 5C, Emilis L., Kirilas N. 5A, Artiomas K. 5B, Anastasija R., Kira K., Maksim K. 6C) had to follow the clues and find the places and the objects on the premises of Vilnius Cathedral. The fight was tough, the friendship won, the ice creams shared, not to mention the pleasure and excitement of a sunny summer afternoon spent together and outside!

 

As a bonus all participants were taken on a tour in the Old Town.
